ICU Registered Nurse – Silver City, NM

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse with broad critical care expertise across multiple specialty areas. This role supports a diverse patient population, including OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, and PICU, requiring strong clinical adaptability and the ability to respond effectively in high‑acuity environments. The ideal candidate is confident managing complex cases and comfortable transitioning between specialty ICU settings as needed.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3×12‑hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license or Multistate Compact license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience across multiple specialty areas
• Ability to manage patients from OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, and PICU settings

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality critical care nursing across a range of ICU specialties
• Assess, monitor, and manage complex, unstable patients requiring advanced interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, evidence‑based care
• Respond rapidly to emergent situations and support critical decision‑making
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all facility protocols
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit assignments
