Job Title:                            RN - OR

Location:                           Watertown, New York, 13601

Duration:                           13 Weeks Contract

Hours Per Week:              40 Hours/Week

Days/Hours :                    5 days * 8 Hours 

Pay rate:                            $67/Hr to $70/Hr

 
Note: 100 MILE RADIUS RULE

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NYS RN license
• BLS required
  ACLS preferred.

Description:

• Those without recent previous Operating room experience must participate and pass the six month Association of Operating Room Nursing Peri-operative 101 Education Program.
• Successful completion and passing grade on the final exam is mandatory and a condition of employment as an Operating room RN.
• Minimum one year medical/surgical experience preferred; preceptorship, charge and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNs.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledge in the use of typical clinical equipment instrumentation utilized in providing a safe and/or aseptic environment in and OR/ASU setting.
• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills.
• On call required (Response time of 30 minutes).
