Required Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License (RN)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH certification
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical specialty
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment (prior travel experience required)
Skills:
- Ability to start IVs
- Insert Foley catheters
- Insert NG tubes
- Experience performing EKGs
- Experience managing heparin drips

Additional Information

Float Requirements: Rare and unlikely; may need to float to inpatient rehab or ER to assist
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with 1:6 patient ratio and high turnover units
Patient Population: Adult medical-surgical patients
