Travel RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3099

MUST HAVE ACTIVE NEW YORK RN LICENSE IN HAND – NO EXCEPTIONS

Position Details

Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN
Shift: 3x12s – Day/Night Rotation
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Must be available for some holidays
Floating: Required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live more than 75 miles from facility)

Required Experience & Skills

Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year MS/Tele experience
Charting System: EPIC experience required
Certifications:
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS (Required)

Clinical Competencies

Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Rapid Response and Code Team participation

IV Therapy & Phlebotomy

Peripheral IV line care and management

Respiratory Care

Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management
