Description

Shift: 8-hour Day shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks
On Call: Required (30-minute response time)

Requirements

2+ years of recent OR RN experience required
Active New York State RN license
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS preferred
Must be able to interpret lethal dysrhythmias
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills

Key Skills & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care
Assess and respond to patient clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual needs
Maintain patient and staff safety, including proper use of lifts and equipment
Function effectively in high-stress situations
Demonstrate strong prioritization, delegation, and problem-solving skills
Utilize OR/ASU instrumentation and equipment to maintain a sterile environment
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
