Job Title: RN-Wound Care

Location: Wilmington, NC 28401

Contract Type: Travel 

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • 5 years of Experience REQUIRED for this Role
  • Certs: BLS & WCC or WOCN
  • Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers
  • Locals Accepted at Rate Difference
  • Work Setting Skills REQUIRED: Hospital & Pediatrics
  • Colostomy/Ileostomy Skills REQUIRED: Colostomy care and management, Continence skin care management, Double barrel stoma, End stoma, Ileostomy care and management, Loop with Rod stoma, Mucous fistula & Ostomy equipment selection
  • Identification/management of risk factors impacting skin integrity Skills REQUIRED: Pressure ulcer, Venous ulcer, Necrotic debris, Melanoma, Cellulitis & Edema
  • Symptom management Skills REQUIRED: Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Depression/Anxiety, Fatigue/lethargy/weakness, Pain Management & Stomatitis
  • Ulcer Risk Assessment tools
