Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based, and home health environments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for physical and developmental disorders in both adult and pediatric populations.
• Float between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius as needed.
• Promote patient independence and coordinate care efforts with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and standards, maintaining detailed documentation of patient care.
• Support discharge planning and advocate for patients’ well-being throughout their rehabilitation process.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
• Valid New Mexico PT license.
• Minimum of one year of pediatric or inpatient/outpatient therapy experience, including at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Basic computer skills.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Additional certifications or training in pediatric or adult therapy modalities.
