Travel CVOR RN – Cardiac Surgery

Location: Stuart, FL
Start Date: February 16, 2026
Pay: $2,503 per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10s | 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM
 

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced CVOR Registered Nurses for a cardiac surgical unit. Candidates must have scrub experience and be comfortable managing a variety of cardiac procedures in a high-acuity environment. Cardiac call is required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience with scrub skills
• BLS and ACLS required at submission
• NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• First-time travel nurses accepted
• Locals within radius accepted at same rate
• Must be nicotine-free and pass negative 10-panel + cotinine drug screen

Unit Highlights:

• Cardiac OR (Track 3: Cardiac)
• High-acuity cardiac surgeries including:
  • CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)
  • TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
  • Mitral Valve Replacement
  • MAZE procedure
  • ASD repair
• Cell saver, blood & blood product administration
• Universal Protocol / Time-out compliance
• Wound management and infection control

Professional Knowledge & Skills:

• Fire, radiation, and laser safety
• Specimen handling & labeling
• Administration of blood & blood products

Additional Details:

• On-call required for cardiac cases
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week for 4x10s
