Travel ED RN – Critical Need
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Start Date: February 2, 2026
End Date: May 2, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2,440 per week
Shift: Day Shift | 12-hour shifts | 3 shifts/week | 36 hours per week
Patient Ratio: 1:4 | 25-bed unit
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment. This assignment requires passing a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test prior to starting. Candidates will be responsible for direct patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Ensure safe, effective, and timely patient care
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders or protocols
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge planning
- Float to other local departments within 20 miles as needed
- Supervise LPNs and non-licensed personnel as appropriate
- Maintain documentation of care, procedures, and patient response
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years ED experience in a large, high-volume emergency department
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
- State RN License (NM or Compact)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass BCA testing during first week of assignment
- Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Epic experience (on-site training available if needed)
