Echocardiography Tech Position - Cape May Court House, New Jersey

Job Details

• Specialty: Echocardiography
• Location: Cape May Court House, NJ
• Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotational weekends, 8 AM - 4 PM, plus weekday and weekend on-call required
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Registered through either ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
• Experience:

  • Must perform cardiac ultrasound tests including stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards
  • Demonstrated full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and digital ultrasound equipment
  • Ability to complete daily scheduled tests timely and tailored to specific patient populations
  • Ability to prepare patients and explain procedures clearly
  • Proficient in navigating electronic medical records (EPIC experience required)
• Additional Requirements:

  • Compliance with various health and safety screenings and vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19 vaccine plus booster, Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, TdaP)
  • Background check, drug screen, physical exam, and other credential verifications
