Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Physical Therapist – PT in the Elkton, MD area
 
PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We're currently seeking a dedicated Licensed School Physical Therapist (up to $60 per/ hour) to support Elementary aged students between 6 schools in the Cecil County area for the remainder of the  2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications: 

• Physical Therapy Degree
• Maryland Physical Therapy License  

Role Overview:
A school Physical Therapist works with children to support their physical development and participation in school. They evaluate, diagnose, and treat movement difficulties, helping children reach their developmental milestones and participate in classroom activities This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. 

Job Details:   

• Schedule:  M-F
• Dates:  ASAP-June 12th, 2026
• Hours:  8:45a-3:45p  
• Setting:  School
• Caseload: traveling between 6 schools
• Pay Rate: $55-$60 per hour
• In-person  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assessment of children's motor abilities in natural and educational settings
• Development of individualized intervention plans to support physical development
• Therapy implementation to address areas of weakness and improve functional mobility
• Environmental modifications to enhance children's participation in educational activities
• Parent/Caregiver education to support carryover of motor skills at home
