<h3><strong>Job Description</strong></h3><p>The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to <strong>neonatal patients in the NICU</strong>, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment. The role requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently during night shifts.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide respiratory care to neonates, including ventilator management</li><li>Assess, treat, and monitor NICU patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions</li><li>Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and airway management</li><li>Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams</li><li>Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital protocols</li><li>Respond to neonatal emergencies and participate in rapid response situations</li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)</strong> certification required</li><li><strong>NICU experience required</strong></li><li><strong>BLS certification required</strong></li><li>ARRT certification (as required by facility)</li><li>Ability to work flexible night shifts</li><li>Strong communication and critical-thinking skills</li></ul><h3><strong>Why This Opportunity</strong></h3><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay</li><li>Consistent bi-weekly hours</li><li>Flexible night scheduling</li><li>High-acuity NICU experience</li></ul>
