Day shift, 4 - 10 hour shifts, M-F, no weekends or holidays
icensure & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Pennsylvania or Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
- All certifications must be maintained and renewed every two years

Registered Nurse – Ambulatory / Perioperative Care
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory and perioperative setting. This role delivers patient-centered care in accordance with current Ambulatory Care standards, American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN), and Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) standards.
The RN will focus on pre-operative and pre-procedure care, post-operative and post-procedure recovery, and the safe transfer of care to receiving units. Care is provided to patients across the lifespan—from neonates to geriatric patients—in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide care for a wide range of outpatient services, including:
- Medical and oncology patients
- Surgical and procedural patients
- Blocked patients
- Emergency and inpatient add-on cases
- Phase II recovery
- Gastroenterology patients
- Monitor patients for cardiac arrhythmias and respond appropriately to life-threatening emergencies
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and staff
- Promote safe, efficient patient flow and optimal outcomes for discharge
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program required
- Successful completion of an EKG course preferred
