Patient Population: Primarily stroke patients, with some general medical–surgical patients to balance lower stroke census
Patient Age Range: Young adults to late adults (18–60+)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
Care Structure: An RN assumes full responsibility for patient care on each team
Floating Requirements:
- Travelers may float between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius
- Floating based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity
- Advance notice will be provided prior to the scheduled shift if floating is required
