Travel Physical Therapist- Washington State

American Consultants has several contracts located in Washington state for a travel PT. Both In-patient and Out-patient opportunities.

Pay Package-

Taxable- $40/hour

Tax Free- $1246/week

Total- $2846/week

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Travel Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in a variety of clinical settings while working on short-term contracts across different locations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, compassionate, and motivated to support patients in improving mobility, restoring function, and enhancing quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to help patients achieve functional goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient progress, treatment adjustments, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Travel to various healthcare facilities (hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health, etc.) as assigned.
• Adapt to new environments, teams, and patient populations quickly and effectively.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and innovations in physical therapy.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in physical therapy.
• Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse healthcare settings.
• Willingness and ability to travel and commit to temporary assignments.
