Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse - Maternal Child to work at a Facility in Tacoma, WA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $55 / hour
*W2
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse - Maternal Child in an acute care setting
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing (ASN)
- Work Experience: One Year of Experience in Nursing
- License: Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and/or territories.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA or ARC issued
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP)
- Fetal monitoring Certification
- Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (STABLE)
- US Citizen
- NACI background check
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates. Experience caring for postoperative patients.
- Obtains patient history, and pertinent family history, and advanced medical directive information. Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administers medication and prescribed treatments, completes admissions and
discharges, and promote convalescence and rehabilitation. - Manages care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions arc mechanically assisted by life support equipment.
- Knowledge of the transitional care of neonates is required.
- HCW's will be required to float within similar specialties
