Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse- Telemetry
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift: Nights, 
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

 

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN – Telemetry with 2+ years of acute care hospital experience to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and patient assessment, with the ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly identifying and responding to abnormalities.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.

  • Cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
  • Acute care nursing and patient assessment
  • Medication administration and IV therapy
  • ACLS and BLS proficiency
  • Emergency response and rapid decision-making
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Accurate EMR documentation

Requirements:

 

  • Valid NY State RN license
  • ACLS Certified through AHA
  • BLS Certified through AHA
