Position Details

Minimum Experience:

1 year required
First-time travelers accepted

Patient Population:

Adults to geriatrics

Certifications Required:

BLS
CPI
NIHSS

General Skills and Work Setting:

Patient diagnoses include chest pain, CHF, ESRD, anemia, and abdominal pain
Team nursing model
Each RN is responsible for assessments and oversight of up to 8 patients
Care is supported by an LPN or paramedic and a PCT for task completion and medication administration

Ratio / Census:

1:8
16 rooms with an average daily census of 16

Weekend Requirement:

Every other weekend, unless specified otherwise

Floating:

Yes, within the facility as needed
