Shift Notes: M-F 11a-730p, call required,
Average of cases per day: 8-30 cases/day
Unit Type: OR (Operating Room)
Years of Experience: 3 Years
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) "BLS, ACLS
Gross-Weekly: $3,642/Weekly (40 hours)
Breakdown:
W2 (1-8)Hours: $50*32 = $1600/week
W2 (9-12)Hours: $72*8 = $600/week
Housing & Meal stipend: $1442/week (Non-Taxable)
Common Cases: Ortho: totals-knees, hips, shoulders; knee and shoulder scopes, TSAs (a lot); Urology-don't do many nephrectomies but everything else from cystos, ESWLs, TURPS, penile prothesis, orchiectomies, open prostates (not required); GYN-lots of hysters, D&C, slings, robotic hysters, a lot of GYN oncology, salphingooophrectomy; neuro- a lot of ortho spine, brain tumors, cranis, subdural hematomas, transsphenoidal tumors, VP shunts; hands, podiatry, DaVinci, vascular-a lot of small stuff AV fistulas, thrombectomies, carotids, endarterectomies, fem pops-open; general surgery-open, lap, robotics; ENT-tonsils, adenoids, pediatrics ENT, bariatrics, and eyes (not a deal breaker)
