• Schedule: 5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

• Call: Yes
  • On-call 3–4 weekends per contract
  • Call window: Friday 3:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 2 years pediatric scrub tech experience required
• If first-time traveler: 5+ years CVOR experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• BLS (AHA only)
• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program OR 2 years ST experience in lieu of program
• Strong experience in Eyes, Urology, Neuro, and Ortho
• Must be comfortable with CVOR call
• Traveler must live 50+ miles from facility (locals not accepted)

🩺 Unit & Role Overview

• Pediatric-focused CVOR role: 80% generalist / 20% cardiac
• Weekday shifts include CVOR and general OR cases
• Call coverage primarily for cardiac / life-or-limb cases
• Wide case mix including cardiac surgery, trauma, neuro, ortho, transplant, and pedi specialties
• Level I Pediatric Trauma & teaching facility

• Floating: Travelers float first based on staffing needs
• COVID vaccine not required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Parking permit required (UW Transportation)
