Work Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekend shifts: Most staff work 1 weekend shift per week (8 hours); if assigned weekend, time off during the week is provided
- Weekend coverage for acute PT: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
- No holiday requirement
Patient Load
- 8-12 patients per day, assigned by hospital area with attempts to match comfort areas
Orientation and Onboarding
- 1 day total orientation
- Initial hours spent on EMR training and with director
- Remainder of shift spent shadowing
Additional Information
- Facility is nicotine-free; drug screening includes nicotine/cotinine testing with strict policies
- Business casual dress code; scrub vouchers may be available
- Rehab aides and PT assistants available for support
- PT supervisor available on site
- Open to contract extensions beyond initial length
