Job Overview
Portneuf Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown/Telemetry assignment. This is a 13-week travel contract supporting a 24-bed unit that provides intermediate-level care for complex cardiac, stroke, and medical patients. The facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and Chest Pain Accredited, with the capability to manage PCI and open-heart surgery patients.

- Shift Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per contract)

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU-level patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration required)
- Administer blood products and medications safely
- Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy
- Maintain and manage central and peripheral lines
- Utilize Rapid Response and Code Teams when appropriate
- Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams
