Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry | Night Shift

Location: Lubbock, TX 79410
Start Date: January 26, 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Unit: Telemetry RN – Peace 5
Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
First-Time Travelers Accepted

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to telemetry and cardiac patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration for some drips)
Administer blood products and IV medications
Perform central line, PICC, and peripheral IV care
Care for patients with CHF, COPD, NSTEMI, sepsis, ESRD, pneumonia, and post-cardiac procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, and rapid response
Float between units as needed within scope

Required Qualifications

Active RN license for CA
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with Epic EMR
Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Ability to work nights and scheduled weekends (6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks)
