• Acute care hospital with 86 beds
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Number of PCU beds: 12
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours: Varying (every other or every 3rd weekend)
• Call requirements: None
• Float requirements: Float based on rotation

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Progressive Care / Step-Down
• Number of openings: 1
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
• Required licensure: Registered Nurse License
• Required years of experience in specialty: 2+ years
• Must have skills/experience:

  • PCU/Step-Down competencies including titratable diltiazem, lasix, amiodarone
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • ACLS proficiency
