Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel Assignment

Overview

A hospital‑based imaging department in Centerville, Ohio is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment. This role focuses on general nuclear medicine and cardiology studies and requires strong technical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: February 2, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00 (5×8‑hour days)
• On‑Call: Possible depending on departmental needs

General Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using proper techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration
• Operate imaging equipment and perform venipuncture within licensure scope
• Coordinate patient flow and daily activities within the Nuclear Medicine department
• Follow radiation protection standards and maintain equipment functionality
• Assist with procedures in other imaging modalities as needed

Education Requirements

• Minimum: Associate degree
  • Type: Allied Health
  • Major: Nuclear Medicine Technology

Licensure & Certifications

• CPR Certification – Required
• Nuclear Medicine Registry – Required
• ODH Licensure – Required (Pending Accepted)
• ARRT RT(R) and/or NMTCB – Required
• BLS – Required

• No prior job‑related experience required
• Preferred: One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
