Gross Pay: $1,966/week
Start Date: 1/26
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights, Sunday–Thursday rotation
Position Overview
A reputable medical center in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an experienced Travel Sleep Technologist to join their night‑shift sleep services team. This assignment offers steady night scheduling, strong weekly pay, and the opportunity to support a well‑established sleep program serving adult and pediatric populations. Ideal for a tech who is confident working independently and delivering high‑quality polysomnographic studies.
Requirements
- Active RPSGT credential
- Current BLS
- Minimum 1 year of recent sleep lab experience (RPSGT required)
- Strong knowledge of sleep staging, scoring, PAP titration, and patient monitoring
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Responsibilities
- Perform overnight polysomnographic studies
- Monitor and document sleep patterns, respiratory events, cardiac activity, and limb movements
- Conduct CPAP/BiPAP titrations and troubleshoot equipment
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper sensor application
- Score studies per AASM guidelines
- Collaborate with sleep physicians and clinical staff as needed
