36hrs/wk 7p-7a May float as needed.Ortho pt's common on unit.Nights.No call.Start asap.Cerner Experience preferred but may train right candidate.CAH experience highly preferred.Required Certs: BLS, ACLS-AHA, PALS-AHA only.Orientation: Usually two shifts preceptor on unit.Weekend: Requirements: Every Other Weekend.Ratios: 1:5, rarely-1:6.3 nurses scheduled.Number of beds: 21 average census 8-10.2yrs experience in specialty required-Must be able to set up and use Bi-Pap.Common titratable and/or set rate drips: Cardizem, insulin, heparin.Tele Monitors: Mindray monitors and must be able to read own strips.Floating Requirement: OB nurses will float to MedSurg/Tele but MedSurg/Tele RN's will not.Self Scheduling, Will do block schedules if unit allows at time, Schedules are made about 2wks in advance, 6wks at a.Time.Common DX: Respiratory issues, pneumonia, wound care, post-op ortho, hip, knee, occasional Gun or urology, FSV, Bronchiolitis, Pediatrics-1-2x/week (experience in peds not required).They only do Cardizem Drips and not very often.
