Description

Role & Unit: ICU Registered Nurse for a high-acuity, 30-bed combined unit (SICU/MICU/Neuro). Must be capable of managing post-operative fresh heart patients (CABG).
Clinical Experience:
- Required: Open heart, Neuro, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) experience.
- Specialties: Proficiency in Stroke care, including the administration of Tenecteplase (TNK).
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
System Proficiency: Must have previous Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience.
Schedule & Attendance:
- Rotational Requirement: Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Sick Call Policy: Weekend sick calls (Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM) must be made up on the following weekend.
- No Requested Time Off (RTO) will be granted for holidays.
Flexibility: Floating is an expectation of this contract in cases of low unit census.
