SHIFT / SCHEDULE
- Nights: 7p–7a
- 36 hours/week (3x12s)
- Every other weekend & every other holiday
- No call requirement
LOCAL / TRAVEL
- Travel experience required
Locals accepted (local rate applies)
UNIT / ROLE DETAILS
- Provides care during high-risk deliveries
- Works in a Level II Nursery
- Must have experience attending deliveries
- Floating required to:
- Postpartum
- Mother/Baby
- Labor & Delivery (as needed)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (SUMMARY)
- Delivers safe, age-appropriate nursing care to neonates
- Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for newborns and families
- Coordinates interdisciplinary care and patient/family education
- Delegates appropriately to assistive personnel
- Documents care per policy and participates in quality initiatives
- Supports team development through mentoring and collaboration
- Adheres to attendance, competency, and mandatory education requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in special care nursing of newborns (preferred)
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- BLS (Healthcare Provider)
- NRP required
