Nights: 7p–7a
36 hours/week (3x12s)
Every other weekend & every other holiday
No call requirement

LOCAL / TRAVEL

Travel experience required
Locals accepted (local rate applies)

UNIT / ROLE DETAILS

Provides care during high-risk deliveries
Works in a Level II Nursery
Must have experience attending deliveries
Floating required to:
- Postpartum
- Mother/Baby
- Labor & Delivery (as needed)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (SUMMARY)

Delivers safe, age-appropriate nursing care to neonates
Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for newborns and families
Coordinates interdisciplinary care and patient/family education
Delegates appropriately to assistive personnel
Documents care per policy and participates in quality initiatives
Supports team development through mentoring and collaboration
Adheres to attendance, competency, and mandatory education requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in special care nursing of newborns (preferred)
Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
BLS (Healthcare Provider)
NRP required
