- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
Certs Required: BLS, PALS.
Experience Required: 2+ years PICU experience. If traveler went straight into PICU out of school, need minimum 3 years. Starting IVs, foleys, dressing changes, wound vacs, vent/trach management, suctioning, G/GJ tube management, tube feeds, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, critical drip management, discharging skills. If low census in PICU, could be working independently (charge RN PICU trained).
