Position: RN – Step-Down / Progressive Care Unit (High-Acuity Stepdown) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM AK RN fingerprints must be completed during onboarding prior to clearance to work Unit Information Unit Type: High-Acuity Stepdown / Progressive Care (Observation Unit) Number of Beds: 19 Patient Ratio: 4:1 Equipment: Bedside monitors EMR: Epic On-Call: None Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Staffing Day Shift: 6 RNs (including Charge) and 2 CNAs Night Shift: Not specified Required Experience & Skills Must Have (required): Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience Minimum 1 year of step-down experience ACLS and BLS Preferred / Nice to Have: Not specified Typical Procedures: None listed Floating May float to other telemetry units and medical units Certifications Required AK RN License (permanent only) ACLS BLS Dress Code Scrub Color: Navy Blue Ideal Candidate Profile Positive attitude Strong work ethic Comfortable in a high-acuity stepdown environment
