Cath Lab/IR - RN - # of suites/labs "2 Cath Lab/IR, 1 Hybrid Rm, 7 Holding rooms" - #cases per day on average 16 - Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS - Common diagnoses/Types of patients "Cardac (PCI & diagnostic- LHC & RHC, pacemaker implants), vascular, IR cases, mediports and dialysis caths, & AAA Stenting (hybrid lab), Equipment: impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto" - Job Duties Pre admission and post care in Holding, procedural nursing in lab, PICC line insertion, IV conscious sedation and airway management - Experience or 'Must have' skills "Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience - Must have some prior exposure to IR & peripheral vascular cases - Must have experience with impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto - Must be comfortable with conscious sedation - Must be able to read and interpret tele rhythms and respond appropriately" - EMR/Equipment GE MacLab, will be switching to Phillips Xper in 2025 - Cardiologist hours/on call 24 hours on call - Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes, charge helps with flow of the day and assignments - Cath Lab Techs 6 - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 3- 12 hrs shifts from 0530-1800, weekends, holiday, and after 1800 on call - Weeknight/Call Requirements yes, 1-2 days per week - Weekend/Call Requirements yes, 1 on call weekend every 4th weekend, end of shift -
