Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Fort Dodge, IA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
EMR: EPIC

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients across various clinical settings. The role includes assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer respiratory therapies, oxygen delivery, and aerosol treatments
Monitor patient response and document care in EPIC EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility protocols
Ensure compliance with patient safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 24 months of recent Respiratory Therapy (RRT) experience
Active Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT)
Discipline-specific Skills Checklist (Respiratory Therapy / RRT)
Valid Driver’s License
