Interventional Radiology Tech – Travel or Local Accepted

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join a high-acuity, fast-paced IR/Neuro-IR environment. This role will accept local candidates (local rate applies). Prior travel experience is preferred.

Position Details

• Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts, Monday–Friday as assigned (36 hrs/week)
  • Rotating shifts: 7:00a–4:30p, 7:30a–5:00p, or 8:00a–5:30p
• Call Required:
  • 1 weekday per week + every 4th weekend
  • Weekday call: 5:30p–7:00a
  • Weekend call: 7:00a–7:00p
  • Additional call may be required to support open coverage
• Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
• Staff may be required to stay late if multiple procedure rooms remain active

Requirements

• 2–3 years IR Tech experience
• Neuro-interventional experience required
• Runoff and angiogram experience highly preferred
• Dysrhythmia exam not required
• Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working independently

Unit Details

• 2 procedure labs
• 12–15 cases per day
• High-volume, physician-led interventional service

Procedure Experience Includes

• Peripheral vascular diagnostic/interventional exams
• Biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations
• Tunneled dialysis catheters, Mediports, tunneled PICCs
• Nephrostomy tubes, biliary/gallbladder drains
• Vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, sacroplasty
• Lumbar punctures, lumbar drains, epidurals
• PEG tubes, CAPD catheters
• Neuro procedures: cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, carotid stenting
