Description

🩺 Required Experience & Skills

Minimum: 2+ years Cath Lab/EP experience
Structural experience: Preferred, not required
Must be able to pre-op and recover patients as needed

Required Certifications

ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS RN CA license required

Shift Notes

8-hour DAY shift, 7:00am-3:30pm with PM, night and weekend call. Approximately 10 call shifts/month. Every other weekend and maybe 2 per week. Perm staff likes to take call

🕒 Shift & Scheduling

Primary shift: 8-hour Day Shift
- 0700–1530
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Call required: PMs, nights, weekends, holidays
Nurse may be required to take total patient care assignments

🏥 Unit Overview

Cath Lab Suites: 2
EP Lab: 1 (currently under construction)
Average daily volume:
- 4–5 EP cases/day
- 6–7 Cath cases/day
Volume expected to increase with addition of:
- Vascular Surgeon
- Interventional Cardiologist

Weeknight Call:
- 1530–0700 next day
- ~10–12 call days/month
Weekend Call:
- Every 3rd weekend
- Starts Friday 1530
- 0700–0700 coverage
Holiday Call: Required
Call response time: 30 minutes
On-call team: RN, Rad Tech, Cath Tech
