Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health / Psychiatry Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN to join a multidisciplinary care team. This role utilizes a team nursing model, requiring high levels of collaboration with physicians and social workers to manage acute psychiatric care and facilitate complex discharge planning. Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and clinical rounds with physicians and social workers to develop and adjust treatment plans.</li><li>Patient Advocacy &amp; Discharge Planning: Coordinate with social services to ensure safe and effective transitions of care and discharge outcomes.</li><li>Medication Management: Utilize Omnicell automated dispensing systems for accurate medication administration.</li><li>Clinical Documentation: Maintain precise electronic health records using the EPIC charting system.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated clinical experience in a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health setting.</li><li>Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Prior experience with EPIC and Omnicell is required.</li><li>Note: IV certification is not required for this specific role.</li></ul>
