ICU RN

Ratio: 1:2
Experience Required:
- Minimum 1.5 years ICU experience
- Prefer 1.5 years MICU
- If under 2 years, Level I experience required
- Must have experience in a 20+ bed ICU
First-time travelers: Accepted
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: Yes, within ICU service line; may float to MS areas within service line

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS required

Special Requirements:

Must pass Relias EKG exam (dysrhythmia interpretation and management)
Experience with pressor support, ETTs, trachs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care
Sterile procedures: line insertion, paracentesis, bedside trach placement, chest tubes, bronchoscopy, phlebotomy
CRRT via NxStage required

Preferred (not required):

Swans
Inhaled and IV Flolan
CVVHD
Proning
MTP, Level 1 Rapid Transfuser
