Delivery Room Nurse - New Jersey (Mullica Hill)

Job Summary

Seeking a Delivery Room Nurse with recent Labor & Delivery experience to provide postpartum couplet care.

Requirements

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nurse
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the last 6 months
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Certifications must not expire within 30 days of start date
• Licensure:

  • New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License (pending licenses not accepted)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule & Orientation

• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend
• Holiday shifts: Every other holiday
• Return to Office (RTO): No more than 3 days
• Orientation:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules on first day (Monday)
  • In-person classes typically Tuesday through Thursday (locations vary)
  • Unit-based orientation scheduled by manager
  • Badge ID appointment required during orientation (photo submissions not accepted)
  • Completion of full orientation mandatory; failure to complete results in termination

Additional Requirements & Compliance

• Background check, drug screen, and various health screenings and vaccinations (COVID-19, Influenza, Hep B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella)
• Competency exams and skills checklist
• Employment and license verifications
• Confidentiality and compliance with mandatory annual training
• Various federal and state screenings (e.g., FACIS, SAM, OIG, OFAC sanctions)

This position is ideal for experienced Labor & Delivery nurses with strong postpartum care skills and required certifications, ready to commit to a 13-week contract with a structured orientation process.
