Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Traveler)

Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Travel RN for a contract position within our Emergency Department. This role requires a nurse capable of delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will utilize the full nursing process to manage acute patient populations while maintaining rigorous professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions for diverse ED patient populations, including those requiring Telemetry monitoring.
• Critical Communication: Promptly notify physicians of changes in clinical status, diagnostic results, and symptomatology; respond with speed and accuracy to deteriorating patient conditions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to EMTALA regulations and fulfill mandatory reporting requirements for suspected child or adult abuse to social work and appropriate state agencies.
• Patient Advocacy: Lead patient and family education initiatives and oversee the activities of auxiliary nursing personnel to ensure a high standard of care.
• Privacy & Ethics: Maintain absolute patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with healthcare standards and facility policies.

Contract Details

• Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed (36 GTD) per week.
• Designation: Traveler / Contract RN.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in emergency nursing protocols, telemetry interpretation, and rapid response.
• Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of 2026 EMTALA guidelines and mandatory reporting laws.
