- Number of Beds - 24
- Number of Staff – 46
- Patient Ratios : 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity- IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 CCT/US during day shift if > 10 patients
- Documentation system: EPIC
- Scheduling requirements: Straight nights or 50/50
- Floating policy: PCU or as a sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient
- Typical Procedures:
- Rapid Sequence Intubations
- Central line placements
- Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills.
- Central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, chest tube placement
Must Haves:
- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
- A recent 12 months of ICU RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- UT RN License
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Certifications
Preferred or Nice to Have:
- 2 years ICU Experience
- EPIC Experience
- Travel Experience
