Travel Pay Rate: (above 75 miles)

• Hourly:$25.5/hr W2 + $1,799/week (non - taxable stipend)
• Gross:$2,819/weekly

Position Summary

The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. This role requires strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage patients during immediate post-operative recovery to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during Phase I and Phase II recovery following anesthesia
• Continuously evaluate airway, breathing, circulation, level of consciousness, and pain
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxygen therapy as ordered
• Identify and manage post-anesthesia complications and respond to emergencies
• Perform thorough handoff communication to inpatient units or discharge teams
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Provide patient and family education related to recovery and discharge

Required Qualifications:

• ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Active ACLS,BLS & PALS (required)

• State License for CO or Multistate.
