Description
Job Title: LVN - Correctional Facility (Salinas Valley State Prison)
Location: Soledad, CA
Weekly Gross: $2,120 (based on 40 hours)
Hourly Rate: $53.00/hr
Duration: 13–28 Weeks (Long-term options available)
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for high-paying contracts at Salinas Valley State Prison (SVSP) in Soledad, CA. These positions offer consistent 40-hour weeks with a stable schedule in a controlled environment. We currently have two priority shifts available.
Available Shifts
- Option 1: Day Shift
- Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Orientation: 1 day (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Option 2: Evening Shift
- Schedule: Thursday – Monday
- Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Training: 2-week comprehensive orientation provided
Requirements
- Active California LVN License in good standing.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (Correctional experience is a plus, but not required).
- Ability to pass a background clearance for CDCR facilities.
- Reliability and strong communication skills.

- EMR: Paper Charting / CDCR Systems
- Scrubs: Any color (except Orange, Yellow, or Tan/Khaki)
