Job Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as directed
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely
• Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment

Requirements

• Active state Physical Therapy Assistant license (must be current)
• Less than 1 year of experience accepted
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
