Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele)

Location: Memorial Regional Medical Center – Mechanicsville, VA
Contract: 13 weeks | Start: 02/09/2026 | End: 05/09/2026
Hours: 36 hours/week | Shift: 12-Hour Days
 

Job Details:
Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a busy 29-bed unit. The RN will care for a diverse adult patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and strong clinical assessment skills. Nurses are expected to draw their own labs and start IVs.

Requirements:

• Recent MS/Telemetry experience required
• BLS and NIHSS required
• EKG exam required (study guide available in Simplify Library)
• Strong skills in IV starts and lab draws
• Comfortable managing telemetry patients and rhythm interpretation

Schedule Requirements:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend and major holidays required
• ITO interview process

Unit Details:

• 29-bed MS/Tele unit
• Ratios: 1:4–5
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Hercules beds
• Staffing support: 2 PCTs at full census
• Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or combination of both
