Travel Dosimetrist – Radiology/Cardiology

Location: Berkeley, CA
Pay: $3,779/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day | 5x8s | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: 02/09/2026

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Travel Dosimetrist to support radiation oncology services for an adult and geriatric patient population. This role involves designing, calculating, and evaluating radiation treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and medical physicists. Experience with advanced treatment techniques and treatment planning systems is required.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Dosimetrist experience
CMD certification required
Experience in community hospital or outpatient settings preferred
No travel experience required
Strong knowledge of radiation dose calculations and QA processes

Responsibilities

Design and calculate radiation treatment plans
Perform dose-volume histogram (DVH) analysis
Evaluate treatment plans against clinical protocols
Conduct QA for IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT plans
Collaborate with oncologists and medical physicists
Utilize computerized charting systems

Treatment Planning & Imaging Experience

CT Simulation and 4D CT
MRI and PET imaging
Image fusion and registration (CT/MRI/PET)
Tumor localization and motion management techniques
