Echocardiographer

Shift: Flexible (Evenings & Variable, Full-Time)

Salary Range (Annual)

$75,000 – $114,000

  • Minimum Experience Required: 1+ year
  • Licensure: State license required (upon acceptance)
  • Certifications Required:
    • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Perform echocardiographic studies including:
    • Transthoracic (2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler)
    • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
    • Exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography
  • Conduct additional cardiac diagnostics such as:
    • EKGs
    • Holter monitoring and analysis
    • Cardiac stress tests
  • Operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment
  • Ensure accurate scheduling, documentation, and billing
  • Follow infection control and aseptic techniques
  • Precept and guide students from affiliated academic programs

  • Perform age-specific cardiac testing, including pediatric and neonatal patients

    Education & Experience

  • Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of echocardiography certification program OR 2 years of hands-on experience
  • Preferred
  • Hospital-based echocardiography experience
  • Pediatric and neonatal echocardiography experience
  • Certificate Program in Cardiovascular Sonography
