Beds: 23 Ratios: 1:6–7 (7 is rare) Certifications: BLS Scrubs: Pewter Gray (Cherokee Pewter Gray reference) Patient Population Ortho: Total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), spines Oncology: Admissions & chemotherapy administration (chemo cert not required unless specified in posting) Other: MedSurg overflow, Hospice Telemetry: Must have strong cardiac tele skills; telemetry being installed on 4H Clinical Details Drips: No cardiac drips; occasional heparin or Lasix Tele Monitoring: Tele techs being added; RNs expected to be tele-competent RT: Rare BiPAP; CPAP for OSA only Support: Charge Nurse & House Supervisor 24/7 (charge may take assignment if needed); CNAs available Schedule & Logistics Shifts: 3×12s — 7a–7:30p / 7p–7:30a Block Scheduling: Considered (including every weekend) based on unit needs; not guaranteed Weekends: Every 3rd (Sat/Sun) Holidays: Rotate with permanent staff Call: Rare low-census call; usually volunteer Floating: General MedSurg, PCU, ICU, or Psych Orientation: Unit-specific provided Local Policy: Locals accepted; bill rate drops $5 if within 50 miles.
