Description

Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU (Day Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) assignment at a leading acute-care hospital in Arkansas.

Assignment Details

Start Date: February 16, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift | 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Required
Orientation: 36 hours

Role Overview
The CVICU RN will care for high-acuity cardiovascular and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including open-heart recovery. The unit supports advanced cardiac therapies and multidisciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience (CVICU preferred)
Charge nurse experience required
Strong experience with:
- Post-cardiac surgery patients
- CABG, valve repair/replacement
- ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD/RVAD
- Swan-Ganz, arterial lines, CVP monitoring
- Ventilator management and ABG interpretation
- CRRT/CVVHD (preferred)
Charting: Cerner (preferred)
Travel experience: Required

Certifications & Licensure

Active RN license (Arkansas or Compact) – license in hand required
BLS & ACLS (NIHSS required with submission)
