Gross Pay: $2,686/week (locals accepted at a reduced rate)

Start Date: 2/16

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 3×12 Nights, 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

 

Position Overview

 

A reputable hospital in Utica, NY is seeking an experienced Travel IMCU RN to join their night‑shift Intermediate Care Unit. This role offers strong weekly pay, a consistent night schedule, and the opportunity to support a high‑acuity patient population within a traveler‑friendly environment. Ideal for a nurse with solid IMCU/PCU experience who can step in confidently and contribute immediately.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Active New York RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently on night shifts

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality nursing care to IMCU/PCU‑level patients
  • Monitor and manage complex patients requiring frequent assessments
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Administer medications, titrate drips per protocol, and document accurately
  • Maintain patient safety and deliver compassionate, timely care
  • Support a busy night‑shift workflow with professionalism and adaptability
