Description

Requirements:

• Active RN License (Compact or TN accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience – REQUIRED
• Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience in large academic or trauma centers strongly preferred

Job Description:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Perform both scrubbing and circulating roles during cardiac surgical procedures
• Support complex adult cardiac cases including CABG, valve repairs, ECMO, VAD, heart & lung transplants, PTE, and cardiac trauma
• Participate in OR Float Pool within the same facility (no floating to other locations)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams in a Level I Trauma, 1000+ bed academic medical center
• Maintain compliance with patient safety, infection control, and documentation standards
• On-call required (3 layers of call coverage, 24/7 rotation; requirements vary every 6 weeks)
